We only process data needed to respond, keep the site secure and understand what visitors ask about.

Silvant is the contact point for this website. Privacy questions can be sent to hallo@silvant.ai. Chamber of Commerce and VAT details are shown at the bottom of this page and in the footer.
What we process
If you use the contact form or Quickscan, we process your name, email address, company name, process area, optional system information, message, visited page and any campaign parameters. If you use the chat, we process your chat message and keep the latest messages locally in your browser so the conversation remains visible. The server uses technical data such as IP address or client id only for security, debugging and rate limiting.
Purposes and legal bases
We use data to answer your question, follow up on a Quickscan, prevent abuse, keep the website technically working and measure which information visitors look for in a privacy-friendly way. We rely on steps before a possible contract, legitimate interest and, where needed, legal obligations.
Processors
We do not sell personal data. To run the site we may use processors such as hosting, email, form delivery, analytics and, if chat is enabled, an AI provider for answering chat messages. Do not share confidential business information, special category data or customer data in the chat or forms before separate agreements are in place.
Retention
Contact and Quickscan requests are kept as long as needed for follow-up and for no longer than twelve months after last contact, unless an engagement or legal retention duty starts. Chat history is stored on your own device in localStorage and can be removed by you in the browser. Technical security data is kept no longer than needed for security and debugging.
Cookies and localStorage
The site does not use advertising or tracking cookies. Functional storage may be needed for chat. Analytics are used only in a privacy-friendly way and without advertising profiles, for example through Plausible if that domain is configured.
Transfers outside the EEA
If a processor outside the European Economic Area is used, we do so only with appropriate contractual safeguards. For a paid project, processors, data locations and security arrangements are documented separately.
Your rights
You can ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your data via hallo@silvant.ai. You can also object to processing. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority.
