Privacy
We only process data needed to respond, keep the site secure and understand what visitors ask about.
Controller
Silvant (Dutch Chamber of Commerce 82683174, VAT NL003713319B97) is the controller for personal data processed through this website. Privacy questions can be sent to hallo@silvant.ai.
What we process
If you use the contact form, we process your name, email address, company name, process area, optional system information, message, visited page and any campaign parameters. When you use the Quickscan, we send your messages and recent conversation context through OpenRouter to the AI model. The conversation stays only in the open page’s memory. To prevent abuse, the server uses a protected derivative of your IP address; rate-limit records contain no chat content.
Purposes and legal bases
We use data to answer your question, follow up on a Quickscan, prevent abuse and keep the website technically working. Only after you consent do we use analytics to measure page views and conversion steps. Depending on the purpose, we rely on your consent, steps before a possible contract, legitimate interest or a legal obligation.
Processors
We do not sell personal data. To run the site we may use processors for hosting, email and form delivery. After consent, Google Analytics 4 and PostHog may process analytics data. When the Quickscan is enabled, OpenRouter and the selected model provider process the submitted conversation context. Do not share confidential business information, special category data or customer data in the chat or forms before separate agreements are in place.
Retention
Contact requests are kept as long as needed for follow-up and for no longer than twelve months after last contact, unless an engagement or legal retention duty starts. The website does not save new chat history in localStorage or a transcript database. New conversation clears it, as does refreshing or leaving the page. Rate-limit counters expire within 24 hours. This does not delete data already processed by AI services; their retention policies and applicable agreements govern that processing.
Cookies and localStorage
After consent, we use Google Analytics 4 and PostHog to measure page views and explicit conversion steps. Ad personalisation, PostHog autocapture and session recordings are disabled. Your choice is stored in localStorage and can be changed through 'Analytics settings' in the footer. These services do not load without consent. The Quickscan does not use persistent browser storage for conversations.
Transfers outside the EEA
If a processor outside the European Economic Area is used, we do so only with appropriate contractual safeguards. For a paid project, processors, data locations and security arrangements are documented separately.
Your rights
You can ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your data via hallo@silvant.ai. You can also object to processing. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority.
